Activity Instruction:

1. Everyone pair up with the person next to you, and each group can pick one shape.

2. Pick something that this shape affords, and find a way to signify that with pens, sticky notes, tape and other supplies

Limit yourself to a single form of signifier:

• Patterns + color

• Iconography

• Sound (when someone starts to interact with it)

• Texture

You’re going to have 3 minutes to create your masterpiece, and then you are going to present it to the class and have us guess what the function of your item is, based on the signifiers you’ve used.
