A man, who wants to visit Golden Gate Bridge, has no idea which station to get off. He is misled by the handwritten notes on which it says "Round trip $10.50 to SF".

A young woman, who thought she knows the ticket machine very well, actually press the button with no function at the starting page everytime.

Three young men have difficulties to check the fare, and don't realize that they can purchase 3 tickets at one time.

A young woman accidentally tags her Clipper Card at Caltrain tag machine, but she actually wants to take a BART. When she realizes this fact, she goes to the information desk for help, but the staff is very indifferent.

A family directly goes to information desk after standing 3 seconds before the ticket machine, and ask about the destination. Then they go back and spend a long time looking at the fare chart. They tell us that you need to press too many times to change ticket value.

Problems:

1. Distribution of information: the map, time table, fare charts and the ticket machine are far away from each other. It is difficult to relate all the information together.

2. Fare charts: many people spend a long time checking the fare charts. It is not apparent that the stations are in alphabetic order. The information is not visually organized at all.

3. Change ticket value: to change ticket value, you can only add/subtract $1 or 5 cents each time by pressing the button. It is troubling.
